Chasing 19

Had a great trip to Hershey and then California and retuned back to Nashville to put my hand back to the plow with what God has called us to do and be in this season.
As I pick up Chasing Daylight again we are moving into Chapter 6- ADVANCE, go unless you get a no

EXCERPT: “ You move forward unless God tells you to wait. There are certain things that you do not need permission to do. You’ve already been commissioned to do them. There are certain things you do not need a calling to do. You have already been commanded to do them...
Jonothan was moving forward in alignment with the purposes of God and the challenge to advance was the affirmation of God’s hand and blessing. We wasn’t sitting around waiting for a sign. He moved forward in everything he knew how to do. Confirmation came in the midst of action.” Chasing Daylight pg.159

It seems that everyone is waiting and searching for that “divine” will of God for their lives...
I heard it taught and taught it myself and I am beginning to wonder if we have put the cart before the horse.

God has already given each of us our blueprint through the 6000 year old compilation of His voice called the scriptures... To love God and to Love others, to make disciples, to cast out demons and heal the sick. Am I overlooking the simplicity of that message? Am I looking for something more grander than that? Am I so unique that God has an unrevealed revelation for my life that He has not already shared.

I am finding peace in the fact that I finally know God’s will for my life...
To be in relationship with Him, to seek his Righteousness with all my heart, and then to allow that relationship to spill over into my love for others. Doing this, I am certain that I am in full accordance with God’s will! Anything else that God chooses to do is a bonus but it’s time for me to stop chasing after the bonus!

Matt 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Blessings

Rob
