Chasing 13

Thank you for the Friday word Darrell!
Back into Chasing Daylight this week and we are looking at having faith in the midst of uncertainty.

There is a story about a blind man in the Bible that goes like this...
John 9:1 As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2 His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"
3 "Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life. 4 As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. 5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world."
6 Having said this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man's eyes. 7"Go," he told him, "wash in the Pool of Siloam" (this word means Sent). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.

EXCERPT:
“How many of us are sitting in front of God with mud on our faces waiting for God to heal us? Is it possible that there is a place you must go to experience the fullness of God in your life? There is for all of us a pool of Siloam, a place called Sent, a journey we are called to where things become more uncertain before they become clear, where our need for faith in God increases with every step rather than diminishes. This journey requires absolute certainty in the goodness of God while at the same time we relinquish our demand to know the details.” Chasing Daylight pg. 88

PRAYER:
God please let us understand the journey you have us on. Use every step to bringing healing and build our faith. May nothing be wasted, may no day go by without refining us.
Amen
