Boys,
CHOICES Continued...
A couple things about Moments
1. Moments are endless, Some are boring, mundane and others exciting or unexpected
and yet any one of them today, could be one of your most divine significant moments of your life! “You rarely know the up front eternal significance of a moment.” - McManus
Dreams are moments you wait for to come and lost opportunities are moments un-capitalized on.
Moments live in time and time waits for no-one.
So what I am saying is, try to capitalize today on every moment. This needs to become a way of life for us! Waking up, understanding the moments that await us in each and every day, throwing ourselves into them with our whole heart.
Here’s some basic sense... If you are playing soccer and shoot for the goal once, you have one chance of scoring, one chance of being the game hero but if you shoot for the goal 10 times, how much better will those odds be for you to score a couple goals and win the match?
EXCERPT: “The most important moment rarely come at a convenient time. Sometimes you wish God would check with your calendar first. The ironic part is that our schedules get packed with the mundane and ordinary, and we become irritated with God when He interrupts us with the miraculous and extraordinary. The scriptures are full of stories about people who were rudely interrupted by God.” Erwin McManus, Chasing Daylight.
CHALLENGE: Consciously think about every moment presented to you today, a phone call, a visitor, a thought and no matter how insignificant or ordinary it seems... make a conscious decision to engage the moment, to seize the moment, to hear the Spirits voice.
Mail me some testimonies!
PRAYER: God this is the day you have given us, tomorrow is not guaranteed, so may we engage every moment, longing to unlock your treasures that wait in the wings! AMEN
